Public Works Laborer- Sellersville Borough, PA Full-time position. Hours of work Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., 40 hours per week. Position requires periodic long hours and emergency weekend work. Laborer is responsible for preparing broken and eroding pavement on borough streets, maintenance of the park system and sewer lines. Position involves lifting heavy objects, walking and standing for long periods of time and performing strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions. Employee will be expected to lift, push, pull or carry objects; use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue.
REQ: Minimum high school diploma and Commercial Driver’s license Class A or B. Applicants need to be physically capable of strenuous work and be able to understand and follow safety precautions. Full Time Accounting Clerk/Bookkeeper- Sellersville Borough, PA Full-time position, Monday -Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., 40 hours per week. Position requires application of double-entry bookkeeping principles and practices, A/P, A/R, bank deposits and reconciliation, record keeping, reporting, data entry. Assistance with mail, reception, phones. Assists with annual budget development, monitors expenditures, state and federal reporting. Accuracy, attendance, and good communication skills a must.
REQ: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business administration and two years’ experience; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
