2019 Chester County Household Hazardous Waste Events

All events start at 9:00 AM and close at 3:00 PM SHARP – Residential Only, Businesses and contractors will be turned away!

Saturday, April 6, 2019- Center for Arts & Technology Pickering Campus (Technical College High School), 1580 Charlestown Road, Phoenixville, PA  19460

Saturday, April 27, 2019- Octorara High School, 226 Highland Road, Atglen, PA  19310 (Proof of Residency May Be Required)

Saturday, May 18, 2019- Owen J. Roberts Middle School, 881 Ridge Road, Pottstown, PA  19465

Friday, June 21, 2019- Coatesville Learning Center, 1425 East Lincoln Highway, Coatesville, PA  19320
(Stone wall entrance-Veteran’s Drive-Same entrance as CAT Brandywine – Route 30 across from Dairy Queen)

Saturday, September 7, 2019- Oxford School District Administrative Building, 125 Bell Tower Lane, Oxford, PA  19363 (Proof of Residency May Be Required)

Saturday, October 12, 2019- Government Services Center, 601 Westtown Road, West Chester, PA  19390                     

Household Hazardous Waste Materials are items such as:  Car/Truck Battery, Oil based paint only, Antifreeze, Gasoline, Bleach, Turpentine, Lawn Chemicals,  and Pesticides.

NOT ACCEPTABLE:  Explosives and Ammunition, Household (alkaline)  Batteries, Tires, Appliances with freon, Propane-Helium Tanks, Used Motor Oil, Latex Paint, Unidentified Waste, fire extinguishers, appliances, trash, asbestos, infectious or medical waste, radioactive waste, pressurized CFC’s & HCFC’s, gas cyclinders, and 50 gallon drums.

No Freon Appliances

Household Batteries and Smoke detectors can be put in the trash.
